- Arbor Day Seedling Delivery
The Arbor Day Seedling Program is back and better than ever! This year, a limited number of seedlings will be available for delivery. In addition to the delivery program, seedlings will be available to pick up at the Southwest Arbor Fest on Saturday, April 22 from 9:00 a.m. while supplies last. Information about what seedling varieties will be available can be found in the 2023 Arbor Day Seedlings Delivery (PDF). To help you successfully plant and care for your seedling view the Seedling Planting Guide (PDF).
Due to high demand, the 2023 seedling delivery form is now closed. Missed the delivery request? Seedlings will also be available at Southwest Arbor Fest at Lincoln Park on Saturday, April 22. Drop by the Lincoln Park Pool Plaza for seedlings and other Arbor Day activities starting at 9 a.m.
The Forestry Office will be following up with email confirmation for approved applications with expected dates for delivery. With help from members of the Grand Junction Forestry Board and local master gardener volunteers, Grand Junction Forestry staff will begin the process of dropping off tree seedlings beginning Wednesday, April 19.
Please note that the City does have a limited number of seedlings, and orders will be taken through a “first come first served” system. Properties are allowed a maximum of two trees per household, and with limited availability, we ask residents to have flexibility in the species they receive. If you have questions about the program, please call 970-254-3861.
