Arbor Day Seedling Delivery

2022 Arbor Day Seedling Delivery Program

The Arbor Day Seedling Program is back and better than ever! This year, a limited number of seedlings will be available for delivery. In addition to the delivery program, seedlings will be available to pick up at the Southwest Arbor Fest on Saturday, April 23 from 9:00 a.m. while supplies last. Information about what seedling varieties will be available can be found in the 2022 Arbor Day Seedlings Delivery Information (PDF).

The 2022 Arbor Day Seedling Delivery Program Request Form is Closed

The 2022 seedling deliveries capacity has been met. If you are interested in planting a seedling this Arbor Day, join the fun at Southwest Arbor Fest at Lincoln Park on Saturday, April 23. There will be seedlings available starting at 9 a.m. by the Lincoln Park pool.

What to Expect if You Completed the Form

The Forestry Office will be following up with email confirmation for approved applications with expected dates for delivery. With help from members of the Grand Junction Forestry Board and local master gardener volunteers, Grand Junction Forestry staff will begin the process of dropping off tree seedlings beginning Tuesday, April 19.

Please note that the City does have a limited number of seedlings, and orders will be taken through a “first come first served” system. Properties are allowed a maximum of two trees per household, and with limited availability, we ask residents to have flexibility in the species they receive. If you have questions about the program, please call 970-254-3861.
