On April 20, 2025, at approximately 2:10 p.m., officers with the Grand Junction Police Department responded to the area of 29 Road and I70 Business Loop for a two-vehicle crash. When officers arrived on scene, they found a vehicle had attempted to turn eastbound on I70 Business Loop and was struck by a second vehicle. The Grand Junction Fire Department transported one patient with possible serious bodily injury and four patients with minor injuries.
While enroute to the initial crash, an officer was traveling emergent and struck a vehicle at the intersection of 29 Road and North Avenue. The driver of the second vehicle was evaluated on scene by the Grand Junction Fire Department for minor injuries.
These are both ongoing investigations and there is no further information at this time.
