GRAND JUNCTION, CO — At approximately 11:55 a.m., the Grand Junction Fire Department was dispatched to 10 Federal Storage, located at 2793 Riverside Parkway, following a report of a fire inside storage units at the facility.
Upon arrival, fire crews forced entry into multiple storage units to locate the seat of the fire and determine the extent of fire spread within the structure. Once located, the fire was quickly extinguished. Fire damage was primarily limited to two storage units, with smoke affecting numerous additional units in the same section of the facility.
A Grand Junction Fire Department investigator responded to the scene, and the origin and cause of the fire remain under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
The Grand Junction Police Department assisted with traffic control and ensured scene safety.
