In 2020, the City, in partnership with the Urban Trails Committee, facilitated creative uses of right-of-ways and multi-modal access to economic centers by installing 300 wayfinding signs to help guide bicyclists around the community.
The project was paid for by a CDOT grant ($50,000), the Horizon Drive Business Improvement District ($10,000) and City match ($5,000) for a total project cost of $65,000. The remaining funds were used to purchase posts and thermoplastic route turn markings.
