Submittal Checklists

The Common Applications Submittal Checklist is designed to make submitting a project to the CIty of Grand Junction consistent and straightforward.  It replaces the need to request a customized checklist from a planner for each project.  Here are a few key things to keep in mind:

  • All items with a ✓ are required.  If an applicant believes this item is not relevant to their project, they may contact the Project Manager or the Development Coordinator to request approval not to submit the item.
  • Items marked with a ■ are required based on the site and/or project conditions.  Requirements will be identified in the Pre-Application or General Meeting notes.  If a meeting is not required, contact the Development Coordinator before submittal.
  • The City may require additional, site- or project-specific data, maps, plans, surveys, statements, or general information to review a development application.
  • Any deviations from the Common Applications Submittal Checklist must be provided in writing with the submittal or they will not be accepted through completeness review.
  • A customized checklist is still required for a Pre-Application submittal.  Please contact the Project Manager or Development Coordinator if one has not yet been assigned.
  • If an application type is not included on the checklist, please contact the Development Coordinator to receive a list of required items for submittal.
