9-1-1 Communication Center
The Grand Junction Regional Communication Center (GJRCC) is a 24 hour, 365 day operation, responsible for answering 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls, including text to 9-1-1 requests for help.

The City's Communications & Engagement Department is responsible for coordinating activities related to communication including City news, media relations, social media, video programming, and publications, as well as coordinating community activities, City Council public speaking engagements, and internal communication.

Housing
Grand Junction is committed to enacting housing policies and partnering with outside organizations that seek to increase affordable housing options, diversify housing choice, decrease the gap between need and housing inventory, and assist those without homes to access supportive services.

The City of Grand Junction works with its economic development partners to recruit, retain, and expand business activity within the City. The City supports these partners as they perform economic development activity.

Fire Department
Grand Junction Fire Department (GJFD) responds to a variety of emergencies. GJFD provides structural and wildland fire suppression, hazardous materials response, technical rescue, EMS care for emergent and non-emergent services.

The Utilities Department is responsible for water and wastewater services, which include delivering high quality drinking water and irrigation water to customers and collecting and treating wastewater in a manner that is protective of public health and the environment.

Visit Grand Junction
As the City of Grand Junction's Destination Marketing Organization, the mission of Visit Grand Junction is to strengthen the destination brand and encourage visitation to Grand Junction. The Board advises the Visit Grand Junction staff on policy and marketing strategy.
