The cemetery will not receive, store, or install any type of monuments or markers.
A temporary marker may be placed by a funeral home, immediately following a burial, and may remain at the grave site for up to one year. Once a permanent marker is installed, the temporary one must be removed.
All markers must be installed by a licensed company or agent.
Vases or urns made of metal or other non-breakable material may be attached to the base of the stone, or set in the foundation. No other object may be permanently affixed to the stone.
Flat, flush markers of granite or standard bronze with the established grade of the plot may be used in any plot of the cemetery.
Due to the varying geology across the Orchard Mesa Cemeteries, upright markers are permitted in the following cemeteries only:
Crown Point Cemetery may have upright or flat markers.
