About the Program

Resource Central, a Colorado-based nonprofit committed to water conservation, has been leading the Garden In A Box initiative for over 20 years. This program has successfully transformed high-water lawns into stunning, drought-resistant gardens, and now it's expanding to the Western Slope for the first time. By participating, residents can enhance their landscapes while reducing water usage and saving on their utility bills.
