Community Recreation Center (CRC) Calls for Artists

The City of Grand Junction and the Commission on Arts and Culture have announced six calls for artists to create original artwork for the upcoming Community Recreation Center, currently under construction. The deadlines to submit proposals are in February 2026, with most installation dates in July-August 2026.

Public Art Exhibitions

The Grand Junction Commission on Arts and Culture provides rotating public art opportunities at City Hall, the Avalon Theatre, Customer Service Center, Grand Junction Convention Center, and Visit Grand Junction. If you're interested in exhibiting your artwork, please fill out an exhibit proposal and we will be in touch. If you have any questions, please contact Haley Van Camp, Arts & Culture Coordinator at 970-254-3876 or by email. Submitted work will be shared with the Public Art Committee and if accepted will be added to the rotating list. 2D and 3D artwork is accepted. Artists must reside in Mesa County.
