COVID-19 Restrictions

Mesa County is currently is the Level Orange: High Risk on the COVID-19 dial. To keep players safe, reservations are required for indoor play and masks are required at all times. This ensures no more than 16 players are in the building at one time and provides play with no wait time.

How to Make a Reservation

  1. Go online: https://gjparksandrec.skedda.com/booking
  2. Select the date you want to play.
  3. Click on the spaces tab on the right top and choose pickleball from the drop down menu.
  4. Click on the start time to select the slot you want.
  5. Click green "book" button.
  6. Put in information on the popup screens. Include a phone number in case of closure. *If there is more than one player in your household use a separate email per person.
  7. Skedda will send you a confirmation email to finish setting up your account
  8. Once it's set up your information will be stored in the system and you just select your times and book.

Need to Know:

  • There will be options for 1.5 hours of play: Monday - Friday 9:00am - 10:30am & 10:45am - 12:15pm, and Mon, Wed, Fri 5:30pm - 7:00pm and 7:15pm - 8:45pm.
  • You may reserve spots up to 7 days in advance and no more than 3 spots/week.
  • It is important to everyone that you cancel your reservation if you aren't coming. You may cancel up to the reservation time.
  • You will be charged when you come in.
  • When the playtime has ended players are asked to leave immediately to allow time for staff to disinfect the facility between play.
  • Do not arrive early as you will not be able to come in.
  • This system is easy - convenient - allows for uninterrupted play - and allows for sanitization of the facility between play. This will increase your safety and enjoyment!

Indoor Pickleball has Moved to the Bookcliff Activity Center

Located at 540 29 1/4 Road between North Avenue and Orchard Avenue, adjacent to Bookcliff Middle School. Parking is located in the north lot in front of the activity center.

Need to Know:

The Bookcliff Activity Center is a gym attached to a school building, so there are guidelines and rules that will be very different than a stand alone building.

  • School bus drop off / pick up schedule should not interfere with drop in pickleball. Other bus activities could occur throughout the day.
  • Cafeteria and school is off limits, even when school is not in session.
  • NO smoking on school grounds.
  • School security is a priority over everything else. Please do not prop doors open. 
  • Shelter In Place and Lockdowns may occur. If one of them happens, everyone in the building must stay put, no matter how long it lasts or what appointments you might have. 
  • Other school issues may arise, please be respectful of school staff and the School Resource Officer. 
  • There are close to 600 students attending Bookcliff Middle School that school staff is responsible for. Users must respect their building, their rules, their schedule, staff, etc. 


  • Drop In: $6
  • 10 Punch Pass: $45 - Available onsite or at the Administration Office, transferrable and non-refundable, Price will increase in January 2021 to $50
